So, I had an idea.
My favourite thing about the spring is the change from wool to cotton knee-socks. It seems a minor thing, yes, but it's heavenly, and probably better than anything else about the change in seasons.
Now, if we could only stop wearing these silly ties as well, everything would be perfect.

Where did you get off to?
I stayed home for the holiday so I could avoid the craziness of Wigtown training, since I knew it would only drive me crazy to not be able to train with them, but I used the free time to chase a Snitch around the pitch for the better part of 48 hours. Progress? Hardly.

Ravenclaw Quidditch
Not like I'll be performing bed checks or anything, but try and get some sleep tonight, yeah? And let's all hope Weasley shags his girlfriend so he plays like rubbish tomorrow too.
The day before a Quidditch match is always torturous--the thought of being made to sit through classes when I could be practising is ludicrous. Not that we need to practice too hard, since we'll have an easy victory tomorrow, but there's no such thing as being too fit.

My very silly brother has managed to get himself whacked in the head with a Bludger (no, he wasn't playing. That would make too much sense), but thankfully, he's going to be okay. My mum says his ego is bruised worse than his head, which I can believe. Something about Wigtown players--they're all very intent on proving their masculinity. Even the girls. It's quite odd. Although maybe this could be universal? I've never played for another team, after all!
I bought another pot of really pretty purple ink in Hogsmeade today--it has sparkles, though, so I will only be using it to send obnoxious get-well letters to my brother and for posters and such. It's very eye-catching. I also bought some wool for a hat I'm working on. I even went a little crazy and had a butterbeer and a chocolate frog, though now I'm feeling rather guilty about it.
What did everyone else get or do today?
